the minneapolis housing market is insane (I know, probably everywhere)
I have found what could be a unique opprtunity to get a good deal on a 50's contemporary that needs work.
wondering if anyone has experience or knows of good resources citing mid-century architecture rennovations / options.
My primary objective is to help my wife realize possibilities and sway her to consider a design project instead of blowing everything on someone elses half-assed bungalow project for top dollar.
She has a great eye fro style but little value of the dollar and patience with investments.

the house my wife and i own was built in 1898 - we're having the wood floors finished next week. it has been a ton of work (we've done pretty-much all of it ourselves), but we love the house and how it's progressing, so it's worth it.
don't have any pics with me.

thanks for the tips so far.
particularly looking for 1950's contemporary arch or renovations on homes from this period if possible.
dwell is the right direction - floor-ceiling window panels, hopper-esque
i fugure there have to be some publications catering to this style

bulletfactory - We just had the Pine floors in our house from 1902 refinished, Well worth doing. Dollar for Dollar it has had more impact than any other renovation we've done.
