look at Daniel Eatocks channel four bill boards..
C4 have really strict ad guidelines that dictate the channel four logo position has to be dead center on the right in a colour specified by them, etc etc
he made the basic guidelines and then designed around them

So this is one of those 'think outside the box' projects that marketing people are always telling me about?

Nah seriously, these projects suck and Im just wasting time by trying other things (which I did, to no avail).

How about trying to find a creative way to use their brand guidelines in a fresh and non corporate way? When you encounter a limitation, why not use it?

Boeing for about a year and I had some strict guidelines but i found I had no opposition in the way i found new ways to do things. get your act together!
