Its because whenever I get to sit outside the pub in the summer the things keep landing in my bloody pint.

Though you can take your pick from - pesticides, increased UV landfall, particulate pollution, increasing homogeneity of land use (/reduced hedgerows, wildflowers), ice-nine, road land-segmentation or legions of bastard 9 year olds and fly swatters.

another issue around here was the risk of spring-time starvation due to the mild winter. the bees were waking up and, with nothing much else to do, eating the storage of honey.
