I recommend the Hilton in Islington.

the millenium on sloane street is nice, but all this depends on yr budget

apartments are the new hotels.

city hotel brick lane

but seriously and for real:
Why stay in a hotel when you can get an apartment for the same price???
You get a lounge and a kitchen extra for free so to speak..

Hyde Hotel in paddington, good transport links to city and airports and the West of England. Notorious sex brothels just down the road and the KFC is open until 2am.
Then there's the Hoxton Hotel with similar facilities but with added snobbery and the odd drug bust or too since arms dealers tend to use it for transactions.

Saint Gregory Hotel on Shoreditch High Street.
Great location (in between Old St station and Liverpool St station) and awesome value for money.

theses are all lovely but i dont even know where central london is
i been looking at sanderson and st martins lane...
is close to anywhere?
- agentfour0
well la-di-fuckin-da mister moneybags!
sanderson is real central.
central london (as it's called) is massive, but the main centre would probably be anywhere in soho or mayfair.....i think.
- agentfour0
heres the main sorta central area.
- MrD0
so around soho and cavent garden is good?
- agentfour0
yep. a friend of mine used to work at the covent garden hotel. Apparently its quite nice. Covent garden would most probably be the safest bet.
i'd probably avoid staying in soho, unless you can get a nice hotel tucked away in an mews or something. if you dont know the area you might end up with tranny hookers lurking around in the early hours. some area's of soho arent really a 'family' atmosphere....if thats what you're after. its not really dangerous or anything, just gets pretty seedy after dark in some areas.
- agentfour0
sanderson is meant to be real nice tho.

yah i dont want super party area but rather just nice shops and nice lounges to hang at nite
