i have played guitar for the past 11 years, but its kind of an off and on thing.
Right now very much on, as I am thinking about buying a new guitar. Problem is you can only fit so many guitars in a 1-bedroom apartment.
i also used to play trumpet, but haven't touched it for the greater part of a decade.

That movie was awesome in general.
Now Robert Sean Leonard (Neil Perry, the one who committed suicide in the film) is on House MD. Not as hot as he used to be, but I'm still reminded of his performance in DPS.

I remember I tried to play the soprano sax once in high school band because it looked cool. But then it was too hard to learn in a few weeks, and went back to alto b/c I was too busy. Despite the similarities between the two instruments. Tenor looks fun too, but it's huge. I already collapse at the weight of the alto.

awww, scatting is cute

I have not been playing guitar for about 15 years and I regularly still don't play. If that makes sense.

(Apr 6 07, 09:16)I'm playing a soprano these days – easiest for travelling. Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Barritone – they're all played in the same way, same basic fingering structure... the differences are in the chops. And the soprano, I can say, is the hardest to adjust to. intonation is much more difficult and its much less forgiving.

Yup, I thought it'd be fairly easy since the fingering is similar, but it does take some time to get used to.

I play piano since im 8, after that went on to play guitar, bass, etc...
started making my own music. Couldnt really make any money with it, I guess I never promoted it properly, or didnt had enough patience to do it for a long time.... and now it became some sort of thing I do on the side....But i tend to think a lot about it, and a lot of times ppl say to me, : Oh you should do something about it, is such a waste...
Why do ppl encourage you to be a musician, just because you have the talent?
I found that unless you are a rockstar, or a superstar DJ, life as a musician is pretty shit.
