i played recorder at primary school, our music teacher was well strict (he was like a Mr Bronson from Grange Hill).
one week i turned up with the music sheet from the previous lesson all folded.
he told me to go home and get my mum to iron it!
i told him to "F*CK OFF!"
and got chucked out of the class for good.
when i got home i told my mum
she said good on me :)
cos she'd have phoned him at the school and told him the same if i had come home and asked her to do it.ive played bass guitar since 16
took up guitar too, while i played bass in a band at college
i tinker on the keyboard
and i make a very eclectic range of music in cubase/abletondance/trip hop/indie/funk

Was a jazz guitarist for a long time. Went o school for composition and conducting and was very focused on being a composer. Now I am more into filmmaking, but my Concerto for Contrabass & Percussion might get another performance in Brooklyn this coming month :)

Bass, keys and vocals, little guitar too. This is the first time in like 18 years that I haven't been in a band, last one broke up in December. I'm feeling the itch bad.

Play guitar, keyboards and mix.
bit of bass, bit of drums, Trying to start a band up again now, but we need a drummer and someone who can really sing and who isent a twat.we're also trying to decide what style we want to play, its a mix at the moment of ratm type, funk and indie, psychedelic pop...no country!

(Apr 6 07, 03:13)You should search for Acoustic Ladyland or polor bear on Itunes, really cool alternative jazz with alot of sax. Sounds like a cross between miles, hendrix, floyd, madness and the almighty bosstones.

I totally get excited when a modern song has awesome sax parts in it. I even glow.

you're not conceited (at least I don't think so, heh), harlequino.
just that Charlie plays the sax and is all poetic and stuff.
