bullshit man all the aliens films ruled, aliens as a follow up to alien was frikking sweet, and robocop2 was a shit dealing beauty of a follow up :/ not sure what shit dealing means he he. In fact terminator 2 was sweet as shit as well.

The original was written by Alex Garland, who wrote The Beach. On this one he is executive producer, but it doesn't say whether he wrote this.

aye executive producer = person who tricks investors into backing the filums.

mmmm....
yeah it looks cheese!
first thing, ditch the hollywood actors and let some other unknown actors star in it, then, and maybe then I might say ill give it 2/10 instead of 1/10.this film is just the same as team america, FUCK YEAH, GONNA SAVE THE MOTHER FUCKING DAY YEAH!

not all sequels are shit, that's not what I'm saying, and james cameron seems to be good at them.
thank god that boat sank at the end though, eh?
- Dancer0
exec producer = he was there for a day to collect his £££££££ so they could put his name on the dvd box and that was it, trust me...

I know what you are saying kelpie, it's a shame people get hyped up then fuck it up by making a sequal therefore destroying allot of the mystical grooves the first outing had.
Take withnail and I for example a second helping of that pudding would make you vom up probably.

...erm, ok.
Aliens was a believable sequel because the original had a sub-plot that meant a return to lv426 etc etc....
28 Days Later left much more scope for an original sequel rather than having to rely on an Americanised generic war/sci-fi shambles.

looks great, its popcorn..accept it as that..

The way 28 Days Later ended was perfect – leaving room for the audience to do a little work – and should NOT have a sequel specifically because it ruins the ending of the original if it does.
Plus, there were the alternate endings on the DVD release. enough, leave it alone, it was a good film and doesnt need to be blundered

btw, this is what Dannyboy was doing while he was exec producer on 28wees later.

...fantastic.
Tensions were heightened when a soldier accidentally opened a mini baby bell.

Actually, from thte trailer it seems like a logical next step in the story. I think the whole point of what they show is that there are very few people left in the country, including the military. So, someone else has to step and provide some sort of security and structure to allow repopulation and get things back to normal.
Y'know...like in Iraq. ;)

Looks kinda like Resident Evil 2 to me and that my friends was a small well formed and highly stinky poo.
And no tag line? Like:
28 weeks later: Apocalyptocus
28 weeks later: The Revenge
28 weeks later: The Return
28 weeks later: The next bite...Etc etc etc
- tank020
would like a follow up to shawn of the dead tho...
- ian0
Like day of the shawn?
