Thought I'd book a last minute deal to a skiing resort for a quick fix, but there's no goddamn snow anywhere!
Son of a b*tch!!

There is plenty of snow here in Italy. Both in and around the Aosta Valley (Cervinia has a 180 cm base, with consistent snowfall) and over in the Colomites.
As well, the french alps on the italian border have some good coverage...
...what are you talking about?
- jox0
mayo, I'll go if I can sleep downstairs in your room with all the fancy gizmos! ^_^

LMAO xenicon, funny you should mention Trysil - I took a class trip there when I was a kid. By far the best time i've ever had in my life!
letters - been checking northern Austiran / west Swiss resorts mostly to be able to co-ordinate with a car pickup a few days later in Münich, and Aosta is a little off - although fantastic, I was there a couple of years ago.

jox, if you're looking around switzerland, try in the south/southeast, they seem to be getting snow every day these pst couple weeks.
not sure where you are looking online, but for around Italy:
Cervinia is showing 320 cm!

GREAT site!! thanks!
Just out of curiosity letters, have you relocated there? I noticed it said Gables on your site.
My dream would be to find work in a place I can ski 8 or 9 months of the year :)

...ok, profile updated now. The Prototype Syndicate site is being used by one of my colleagues, not really my central domain these days.
yeah jox, I moved out here, getting on almost 4 years now. Spent the first couple years at the base of the Aosta valley. I live down near Genova on the sea – with the mountains real close. Best of both worlds. Work for me is consistent and good – on my own, with client here and in the states.

here's an idea, my crabs have dandruff, so hows about you nestle your chin on my nutsack...
I'll make it snow out here...

Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings. I'm assuming that's a good way to end a day of skiing.

Amazing, I envy you!!
I drive by Genova quite often with my folks living down on the Riviera, so next time I might drop by unannounced so you can tell me how you get by the language barrier in exchange for some beer :)

deal jox, the door is always open... As for the language, its taken a while, but having an italian gal doesnt hurt the learning curve. And, you might be surprised at the number of americans working in the design field in Milano and Roma...

(Mar 5 07, 12:25)Had you said that before you added the hyphen to your last name, I would've said "well, a massage too" but now I'm just gonna say "yes sweetie that's perfect!" :D
