Here are my "close account" comments to mediatemple, a truly rectifying feeling to hit that switch:
I've been a loyol customer for several years. As you've grown, I've felt your level of customer service and hardware testing has not grown proportionally. My business is growing and the last thing I need is for several client's email accounts returning errors even when there's clearly enough space on my master account.
I wish you the best and will consider returning once I hear you're back to par. I suggest visiting all of the negative comments from newstoday.com newsgroup, a mass community of developers and designers who used to praise you guys and have since turned very polarized over your services - those whom you sponsor and those who have had the same problems my company has with (mt).

hm. not a popular view with the *ahem* locals.
I'm guessing this thread won't last long.

Do people still send letters?!
That reminds me my local Tesco's keep running out of the milk I use, now where's my pen...

actually sending letters usually gets a better response.
...like if you have a complaint.
Its worked for me a couple times.I hear what you're sayin about the email, I recently had an issue about that.

just curious, who did you switch to? its a honest non-insulting letter, dont see why anyone would be offended

when I was little, I got a box of Craker-Jacks that didn't contain a prize - As you might guess, I was upset, and decided to write a strongly worded letter to the company.
The response I received was an apology letter and a box full of prizes.
winner.

I have a few sites on MT and haven't had any problems - but I haven't switched to the Grid servers..is that the problem?
An Aside: When I was a little kid I wrote a letter to NASA asking them why they didn't have a moonbase yet, and could they hurry up and build one so I could live there. They sent me a nice letter and a few pictures of Jupiter as snapped by Voyager. It was really nice, but now, twenty seven years later I gotta ask - where's my fucking moonbase?

I had mt before and left there years ago. Never saw the reason to stick with'em anyway. Overpriced & horrible customer service. I do a lot of flash work and am having no problems with other hosts.
Whats a good reason to stay with mt?

pretty funny responses. the letter to mt was just a follow-up form field on their site saying "We'd appreciate some feedback why you decided to leave us and only Executive Level Management reads it." I didn't actually type out, print, and mail a letter... what is this? 1977?

mnix21:
You are mistaken.
We bid you farewell.
