Colts, World Champions... not.

It's been a couple of days and the media are still referring to the Colts as 'World Champions'.
I'm just as happy as the next guy that they won the Superbowl. However, as much as I don't want to piss on anyones fire, the Colts are not World Champions at anything. To be World Champions at something you have to be competing against the whole world, and the Superbowl is not open to the whole world.
End (another) rant.

Well I'm a recent convert to the Colts fanbase, but the World Champion status just does not fit. And I agree, they might be able to kick seven shades of shit out of any other team in the world, but teams outside of the USA aren't even allowed to take a pop at them.

They wont let us, because they are afraid of getting hit by guys that are 250lbs, bench 500 and run a 40 in 4.6 secs.

every time the US takes its "world champs" against other teams of the world they lose.
basketball - they get handled in the olympics.
baseball - they didnt even make it to the final in the first world baseball classic, they got beat by mexico. ooh snap!
Im not saying they dont have the talent to win, im just saying Americas get very closed minded when it comes to thinking other countries dont have skills in sports they have "world championships" for.
