It didn't do anything for us when we tried it...

Damn it Kona, I always had crazy dreams about huge basements with tons of hidden rooms in them when I was a kid. If only I could visit that place you mentioned.

don't believe in the Ouija, do believe in ghosts based on detailed stories from various reputable friends...never really experienced anything supernatural myself though.

PS K0na - a few years ago when i was just a lurker, i remember there was a thread like this where you listed a bunch of ghost stories from that place you worked at.
that was an awesome thread. you need to write a book or something.

yeah kona, tell us a quick tale. I am bored as f--k over here

pfff why don't you just open a notepad doc and wait for ghosts to type in it? Why does a Ouija board works?

it's not as much about the board. But more about the location, energy and whos using it.
there are some interesting sites on how and why they work.

the ouija board works because of all the hands on it puling pushing one another. no one knows for sure why it does what it do

My ex told me this story.
We lived next to an elderly Philipino couple in a townhome, and shared an entrance to the complex. We were friendly with them, typical neighbor stuff, borrowing sugar and what not. One night, my ex came home from work and noticed the old man walking slowly towards his front door. She said hello, like normal, and noticed he looked extremely pale, and sickly. he didn't reply, just opened the door and walked inside. She mentioned it to me that night even how he was not himself. usually, a very nice man. A few days later, she ran into older woman next door at the mailbox and asked if her husband was felling ok. She said he died last week... a few days before my ex saw him enter the house.
Another, from my grandfather.
A few years after my grandmother died (very young, 40's) he remarried. After their honeymoon, she moves in and is sleeping in the same bed he shared with my grandma. One night, while sleeping, my grandfather is awaken by something... when he looks up, he sees his dead wife looming over the end of the bed, pointing at him. he nudges his new bride, barely able to speak from the fear. He askes her is he's dreaming. She whispers, "no, I see it too". When I later asked for her version of the story, it was the same.
Personally, I don't beleive in ghosts, but I'm still scared of them.

from what i believe, ghosts have an agenda and are an apparition of guilt or sorrow. in either situation, seeking closure is the end result
i'd welcome them and be pissed if they were not able to be photographed
