way better than what they got right now. i think its pretty good so far. maybe a little more color and attention to detail in the header.
also, since the mission statement probably won't change i would jazz it up a bit and make it more like the little blurbs below...but don't over-do it.
finally, the wave as the page BG is a little too much IMO. i might try something different.

sorry, just noticed you posted an updated comp.
i like the change to the main box with the surfer in the air. the BG picture is better too, but still not wide enough for my 23" LCD. also, the nav is a good idea, but i think the dividing lines are a bit too thick right now...just my opinion though.
no matter what its shaping up to be a good site.
