I heard that badboy on the london elektricity podcast a few weeks back. (actually I don't have sound on my work computer, so I can't be sure, but I'm assuming it's the same remix by the title). I like your portfolio - was that Matirx and Futurebound logo used for something?
- e-pill0

(Dec 12 06, 20:04)when you refer to everyone, I'm guessing you are talking about all 3 of us. liquid is usually that hard stuff to find, very few clubs play it, and not many followers, usually free nights on a small bar.
the heavy stuff is what grabs all the attention (atleast here in the us), I like all stuff but the heavy thing I been listening for too damn long, and its what I hear on clubs too.
I really got the taste for the liquid some mellow neuro, etc lately... anyone checked the new logistics? bad ass. he makes everything on reason too

liquids alright...can get a bit boring after awhile. i usually use it to chill out a certain portion of a set.
check these guys out, you might like some of their shit:

agreed,
I think in general the US scene has always been a little more techy - hence the US's golden boy Dieselboy and dudes like ak1200. I grew up listening to the old school UK dj's: The Ganja Kru, Hype, Zinc, Die, goldie, DJ Rap and all the guys that pretty much helped found the music. Since then, the scene got darker (sounding) in the late 90's. Jungle pretty much died and the tech dudes took over.
The reason I like the "liquid" branch is because it is the perfect blend of all of drum’n’bass' roots. It draws from its reggae, techy, jungle, and intelligent roots. Really powerful drum’n’bass, in my opinion, will draw of old styles to show you something new and completely different.
Overall, I think the best part about drum’n’bass (whatever particular sect you subscribe to) is its ability to surprise you. There’s nothing better than that moment in a crowd when you look over to the dude next to you and he’s got that same look on his face:
“holy shit”
