I think what epill is getting at, is that it doesn't matter the hours of the job ...

10? hrmm... interesting. I'm usually at the office round 8 and leave between 5-6. I normally work at night on my own clients so I work the 10-12 hour days anyway. But it's nice to have a dinner/relax/workout/hang with real people (yes, real people/not NT people) break in between. Recharges the soul for me.
Personally, i like working on projects I like. makes the days go by faster and you're actually excited about it. Like hooking up with a hot chick v. an ugly chick.

my idea of working hard is 10hrs/day... i know. i am lazy.
if i do 12hrs, i get 1.5days even if i am on day-rate.
joyride, maybe you should move to nyc and be lazy like me and still make money.

tk, i'd love to take like a 1-2 mo project in NYC. But I have no desire to move there. I might have to contact some ny recruiters that could find me something like that. I've got some options at this point and am in the same boat as you. Looking for interesting stuff

We've been pitching a freakin awesome client for several weeks now. We are in the final round. It's been Hot project, crazy hours so far, and really enjoyable - minus the stress!
