Did any of you ever leave a high salary job to go back freelancing?

welfare is for people that can't formulate sentences.

If your day job isn't satisfying - find someone after work to balance it -- just ask yourself if the freelance days of non-paying meetings or working through the nigh not being able to "switch off" are worth it.
Freelancing is the same stress - just packaged in different ways.

I thought this thread was about Jaline thinking of becoming an escort.

I also miss the short commute up the stairs to the office.

I left a high paying job with my own office at a post house in Beverly Hills after three months, because of a restriction on creative freedom from the owner. I jumped as soon as I had a month of freelancing lined up. Coincidently, the salary between that fulltime job and freelancing was about even.

Yeah, back in 2000, left my boring good-paying job and went back to being a freelance illustrator. Three years later, my salary had tripled (but those were a tough 3 years).

if i could keep it consistent enough i'd be rich. but getting paid 5k one month and nothing for several months ain't cool
