don't see the point

* It does not conflict with pop-up blockers
* It's only 22 KB!
* It's super easy to setup
* It's super easy to use
* You can easily alter the style as it is controlled through CSShaha, I copied that off their site, if you couldn't tell.

the google 500 px had a scrollbar
the full screen wasn't fullscreen, and didn't even fill the browser window
how is it different from lightbox?

- lvl_130
yeah, sorry i don't really see the point at all.

I don't get it.

I guess, it's a little more user friendly (surfer side) than Lightbox. You can add video to this one and embed other pages... I don't know. I thought it was cooler and a little more customizable than Lightbox. I guess it's not as cool to the coding gods.

whattya mean you don't see the point?
- groundst0
That wasn't sarcasm. I am moderate at coding. It just seems faster for a design head who knows a little about coding.

what is this "interweb"

I am tired of seeing lightbox. I don't care if its the same thing with different wrapping paper, i'll take it.

I actually expected a better response. I think this is similar to Lightbox but BETTER! An evoled Lightbox. This takes care of the whole "how do you go to the next photo" thing that the stupid clients always said was the bad thing about lightbox.
A few of you said, "I don't get it."
What is there not to get?

I think it's great. I'm working on a project that needs a "pop out" but I lose context when I have a popup...not to mention the pain it creates with pop up blockers. This is the perfect application for what I need.
I can see how it will be overused by every artist/designer with a portfolio but it's a great tool and a step away from window restrictions.

saying that... i have a project i may throw it at :)

good points, monkeyshine.

what's there not to get. new content that can be seperate from your page, but without opening a new window. more user friendly than lightbox.
you can load a webpage you designed, without actually taking the user away from your portfolio. there's countless uses.
the next and previous nav is a big improvement on lightbox.
