Sweet, its on like donkey kong.
Just bought a new wide angle and I'm going to travel 1800 miles across Australia to find something good to shoot.
Might even take a few photos.

bought my photo paper tonight! and think I have found the image that I will be sending out...not 100% sure though :)
can the peeps involved check their email please...i have a css question that may be a nice way to show each photo that is sent, but i just want to know if it's even possible. i know some css but wading through all the shit online is annoying :\ so if you got any answers/suggestions for me it would be great!
thanks!

nathan-- I am a CSS idiot.. I replied all to the email.. if we could show the image that we sent- that would be cool.. otherwise just a link to our site, or a page that would display the image sent....

Hi Nathan,
Does the server the site sits on have php or .net installed? I could write a script that randomly selects a stylesheet everytime the page is loaded. This would change the colour scheme and background image?
Could hook it up so that when you clicked a persons name it selected that persons stylesheet too I suppose.
- lvl_130
really slappy? that would be amazing! i actually get free hosting through my old firm so i'm not sure what they support as far as php or .net. i will send them an email in the am and ask. thanks much for your help!
- slappy0
will refresh the page when you click a persons name though to swap out the stylesheet...
php is free so Ill make it work that way.
- slappy0
ok thats all done, just need to make it store a cookie so that it remembers which persons style sheet you picked each time you go back to the site.
Ill go home and test it all works and drop you an email in an hour or so.

wow! thanks slappy. much appreciated. I'll have to dig through it when i get home, but it looks like it does exactly what i was hoping for!
hopefully my host allows php (i'm lost when it comes to that sort of stuff :\
nic, did you get a solution to your css problem yet?

I haven't been reading all the posts but it may be nice if we have some control over how we display our photos on the web. Or whether we want them on the web at all.

(Dec 28 06, 07:04)absolutely agree. i guess i just got wrapped up in the overall idea of image display. thoughts on it?

I can put more thought into it but I do like how blaw displayed the images for NTPE3:
http://www.primedesignsolutions.…
It's simple and easy to navigate. I prefer a dark gray or white background for displaying photos generally.

group 4 check your mail when you get a sec. thanks~!

I can put a flash gallery togther and link the photos in from a flickr rss feed or I could just rig it to xml too so that you wouldnt need to republish the flash movie as photos are added too.
slideshowpro doeas all of that I think I work bought me a copy.
