his response to the GOP wrecking him was pretty rad though. I wish he would have been like that in 2004, straight up calling people liars and shit.

I don't think it makes it better when they apologize. Rush Limaugh for example, if people or pissed it doesn't change things. But I really don't think its that big of a deal. Iraq is a total mess and who the hell would want to end up there?

The democrats are twisting it to compare a joke to deaths. The entire thing is barely entertaining at this point and unfortunately is only the beginning of the mud slinging fest.

People are saying that this incident will put some more life into the Republican campaign, and most people here seem to realize that it was a botched joke. But I'm sure there are lots of people who didn't get all the information. Anyway, Bush has said lots of moronic things.

After all - the speech was in front of students for students.
If it was a joke, it was a pretty bad one, even for Kerry. First, Bush got better grades than Kerry at Yale. More relevant, if launching the Iraq war is a sign of stupidity and a failure to do one's homework, Kerry should avoid calling attention to the fact that he voted to approve it and defended that vote throughout his 2004 presidential campaign.
And k0na... the women and children killing thing in Vietnam DID happen... ACCORDING to John Kerry.
