i'm still a bigger fan of the original #1. i think the lights in the center of the 'bubble' detract from the continuity without adding the clarity you're hoping for. when a piece is this visually appealing, i don't really need to know that the circles are candle lights instead of bubbles. i just look at the whole and feel a sense of elegance and serenity, which i trust will fit in with the music.

but i guess it was too "elegant" and clean. and it's hard to tell the client that i'm not going to change a thing, as it has to be ready for tomorrow and i'm quite tired. :/
