ah yes, and some extra text there also, what went missing...

i'm still a bigger fan of the original #1. i think the lights in the center of the 'bubble' detract from the continuity without adding the clarity you're hoping for. when a piece is this visually appealing, i don't really need to know that the circles are candle lights instead of bubbles. i just look at the whole and feel a sense of elegance and serenity, which i trust will fit in with the music.

elms, those are gorgeous. i would stop and read them on the street, and probably buy a ticket as well.
nice work.

oh shit! we have to choose ONE of them?
well, in that case, definitely number one, but one and two are both stunning.

I'm listening to Sigur Ros right now, works very well while peeping this poster

I love them all but #1 indeed!

i like number 1 as well. although the 'f' in the top-left jumps out too much for me. the rest of the piece is so well placed that that element just seems to float. is it something that is going to live there in the final product, or just your mark for comps? if it's a permanent fixture, i might try associating it with the text at the bottom in some cohesive way. in any case, if you end up getting it printed, i'll take one as well. seriously.

I think of Halloween when I hear All Souls' Day.

subversve, that "f" is the logo of company that organizes the concert, i guess it could be a bit darker so it would not jump out so much.
if that one is going to be printed, i could ask maybe some extra pieces but sending it to all the people, who want it, would cost way too much tho...

I forgot to mention I was retarded.

I'd do a series, several different posters to put up around town based on the direction you started w/ the first two.
Very nice, good typography.

i love how the left-justified typesetting of #2 against the spanned elements in the middle.
but #1 is really nice as well...
tough right now.

thanks, gramme!
cannot do series, not my decision and i guess limited budget also.

(Oct 9 06, 12:15)exactly... i would have choosed also the first one.
but i guess it was too "elegant" and clean. and it's hard to tell the client that i'm not going to change a thing, as it has to be ready for tomorrow and i'm quite tired. :/

who do i have to kill to get a copy of the first one?
beautiful.
