old blue lasta few of those i didn't email directly as i know people that work at them and have asked them either to forward on an email to the relevant parties or tell me the right person to ring, etc.
i'm sure i'll think of more. there's that great place in soho that i went to a few times but it's pretty small and i can't seem to remember the name of it...

just got a message back from the spitz. they're totally booked for december, but have asked how we feel about doing it in the new year...
i suppose if we don't find somewhere else, we can discuss that. but i think the 22nd would be ideal. it'll be tricky to get people to shell out cash in the new year, i think...

haha yea. did you see the crazy soundman? he looked like he'd been shrinkwrapped, and he was bitter, oh so bitter. the band after us, Veto Silver, asked if they could use their own soundman (falirly common practice) and he started freaking out at them: "CUNTS! YOU'RE ALL CUNTS!!!" weaving wrinkled paper voodoo on them...
still i do like the place. and we could get the soho fire department down again if we were there.

ah, remembered the name of that little venue i was thinking of! it's the push bar on dean street. capacity can't be more than 150 or so, though.
how many people do you think will come to this? a normal mentalists gig draws at least 200 on its own these days, doesn't it, vepsa? and if all of nt is canvassing the whole of london? surely we'll get more than that, right?

Alrighty then... just got a guy call me saying we can have the Brixton windmill for either the 19th or 20th of Dec. They hold 150 peeps and are cool with just the bar take. I said I would give him a answer by Friday regardless!

I have only been there once its ok though think we could get somewhere a little nicer and or more central. What sort of capacity are we thinking of do you think? Most venues seem to be up to about 200 peeps then they jump in size to 600-1500 sort of size. Maybe Vespa you can throw some light on this as I really have no idea...
