well, i've sent a mail to the manager of the luminaire, but he's out of the country until later this afternoon.
hopefully we'll hear back with good news!

normally a few weeks either side. The 15th would be the best placed gig that is already sorted but i can't get hold of the promoter to see if it's ok to hijack.
but if not the 15th then i guess the 22nd is the only date we could do if booking a new gig? it's still really close to the 15th tho. could be tuff to get people down so close to xmas, but also v appropriate from the shelter perspective, seeing as it's about raising awareness for women who can't go home for whatever reasons.

On one hand, I just wanna give everyone a big hug, on the other, my mangy mood is dissipating so unless this hotel I booked for tomorrow night gets back to me with "No sir, your online reservation did not go through and we cannot credit your card" someone is gonna have to seriously demean me and get the fire started again...but knowing struggles luck, my little grey cloud will ensure the prior will be the case...

i dont like to aknowledge homeless people, because aknowledging them will make me pointedly aware of the depths i could stoop to if i didn't fly straight and keep my shit handled.
seeing the absolute coldness with which society treats those on its margins, makes me frightened for myself. So normally i look away and stare at the fit girls boobies. And console myself by thinking the homeless are there cos either they want to be, or deserve to be, or could get out of it if they got their shit together. Even though i know this is all a lie.
