even if it were the president of the company, i wouldnt be jailed, nor would it make anything further than the evening news. honestly dont think it would even come to that.

No.
The coverup is what bugs me though. The lying and finger-pointing by house and senate leaders.
It is pretty predatory to be tipping up on some 16 year old boys though.

... that's pretty much... just gross. He's an older man who trying to get on young boys... why's that fucked up when a priest does it? (and 17 is 14... there's no amazing leap in maturity there other than the 17 year old thinks 'little' of the 14 year old)... these are not ADULTS the man was 'flirting' with...
Where there is 'smoke'... (or cyber smut)... I'm willing to bet there's a lil fire somewhere...

... I too am a 'surving victim of physical abuse' such as Foley dealt with as a teenager himself... I have little sympathy for him as he 'acted on it' by engaging in the IM conversations... there are COUNTLESS people who battle w/fucked up sexual emotions that DERIVE from abuse etc and don't act on it...
... cotton... his sexual apetite is ADMITTINGLY due to his abuse as a child... between the ages of... 13-15... //that's lightyears away from 17, isn't it.

predatory is luring unsuspecting children into ur home with candy so u can drug them and screw them senseless.
he hasnt touched any of these 17y/o children.
doesnt make it appropriate in the work place, but i dont think people should mark him as a disgusting monster. he has his issues, and i think people should be thankful that he hasnt acted on them anymore than some internet chat. could be plenty worse.

ok, try to think about the personailty of a 16 year old kid that would want to be a page anyway. So if your Rep is a homo and is wanting to have cybersex on the internet and he realizes that you obviously have political aspirations, is it not predatory knowing that this kid might just do what it takes to gain access or a favorable opinion from a congressman? It's sexual harassment 101.
And if anyone throws monica lewinsky up, you are right in premise, but she was 23 years old which makes quite a bit of difference to me at least.
