16 intelligence agencies, motherfucker, 16.
What plots have been thwarted? Sorry if I am so critical of my government but you know.... after clinton banged that intern I am a bit critical of my leaders.

9/11 happened when a republican was in office, and (the republican)had previous knowledge ( via security briefings ) that terrorist were aiming to attack america with airplanes.
Though we may not have had an attack since, we did have an attack then. The previous attack happened under a democrat who was in office for 33 days.

Im unsure what balance's goal is by coming here.
just trolling or do you think he actually wants to change opinions?
one way, he is an idiot.
the other way he is a fool.
short bridge... long walk.

what do you mean dobs?

The way it is worded, seems like the same old sandbagging. Looks like Hastert's Chief of Staff is actually going to take the fall if they can't say that Fordham didn't tell them about this a long time ago.

According to two people close to former congressional page Jordan Edmund, the now famous lurid AOL Instant Message exchanges that led to the resignation of Mark Foley were part of an online prank that by mistake got into the hands of enemy political operatives, the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal.
According to one Oklahoma source who knows the former page very well, Edmund, a conservative Republican, goaded Foley to type embarrassing comments that were then shared with a small group of young Hill politicos. The prank went awry when the saved IM sessions got into the hands of political operatives favorable to Democrats. This source, an ally of Edmund, also adamantly proclaims that the former page is not a homosexual. The prank scenario was confirmed by a second associate of Edmund.
The news come on the heels that former FBI Chief Louis Freeh has been named to investigate the mess.
Developing...
What was the prank exactly?

What... no one wants to report now how the media had the emails back in July and decided not to run them?
St. Petersburg Times
Miami Herald
CNN
Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in WashingtonWhat a magnificent cover up this has become. So by this thought process who at the following news sources should be out as well?
"After Foley's e-mails were reported, others disclosed knowledge of them. Several news organizations, including the St. Petersburg Times and the Miami Herald, had been made aware of the initial e-mails but chose not publish them.
Tom Fiedler, executive editor of the Herald, told CNN that the paper had been tipped to the e-mails but did not run a story because their language, while "inappropriate," was also "ambiguous in what it actually meant or what a message might be."
The liberal watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington also obtained the e-mails in July. It forwarded them directly to the FBI for investigation."

spin spin spin!

And again, although I think Foley has got some inner demons to battle, "Foley's attorney, David Roth, said Tuesday: "There was absolutely never any inappropriate sexual contact with any minor. [Foley] has acknowledged full responsibility for inappropriate e-mails and IMs."
