check the spelling of the song and make sure it has an album int he metatags (highlight song apple+i, or getinfo). fill in as much as you can, try again. or maybe just too rare...

i think the interface change was in response to the fact that it's such a huge cross-platform app. i wouldn't bet on apple to fuck up a ui.
