have to say though, these look those mad initial sketches that never get beyond production design to me, you see them when you look at any movie of this type, I reckon he'll end up being closer to the original.
he'll still be shit though, as will everything else to do wit this film.

What Bay fails to know or remember is part of the appeal of the Transformers is that they looked like vehicles in our present day. You couldn't tell them apart from what we currently use, so that they blended in.

exactly mayo how awesome would it be if a truck rolled up in a massive crowded town squareand then just dissassembled into a massive cool assed robot and pure started shooting the bad guys that would be AWESOME, it could use it's siding to protect the innocent people too, and pther things could come out of the back of it to drive the people to safety then transform into wee robots and run off to do more shooting, I should have been consulted on this film.
I'm suing the transformers fim for not consulting me. AWESOME!!

they will indeed go thru a bazillion changes b4 they are completed and rendered for the film, sure. But that starting point seems soooo far away from the source. Optimus is way more on Target. Megatron simply can't be a gun. It's not PC.
