Buying MP3 online

Ok, just for this time only, I will give buying mp3 a chance. I was one of the skeptics and was still buying CDs. So, Itunes is deffenetly out of the question for me, their store and integration with itunes (the player) is amazing, but. their tracks have too many restrictions, so I am looking for other options.

I use it mostly to get imports before they are in the U.S.
Plus, you can listen to stuff straight from the site, you don't have to download it. I'll mostly use it to do that, check out new stuff.
I've found tons of new music based on the suggestions on there, it works pretty well.
And technically, it is not illegal (just immoral, basically).
You are essentially importing a file from another country, in this case an mp3. There is no current law against that.

Too bad they selection is very small though..
I was looking to get an album from the police, you would think oh.. they have it for sure..nope..
sucks.. I guess back to the cd again..

Their selection is huge for most new stuff, pretty decent catalogs of older stuff too.

i have spent 80 dollars at all of mp3 since march just watch your statements, sometimes your payment of 10.00 can actually be 10.07 but i could give 2 shits.

allofmp3 is great for rounding out your collection with all of those staple albums you need to have. it actually has a pretty decent selection of stuff. its a lot better than when i started using it back in late 2004, but still not enough to keep me from buying the CDs that will never be on there.

eMusic is pretty good, but the selection could use some work. On one hand there isn't a lot of what I look for available, but on the other when I *do* find something decent it's dirt cheap. $10US for 40 tracks plus a few free to get you started. Good damn deal.

i used them before, and my browser crashed in the middle of a download and when i went back to the site THE FILES WERE LOCKED and they wouldn't let me get the files i fucking paid for. so screw that shit, i'll just keep stealing.
