griffin ear thumps.
$40 bucks, pretty durable, clean sound for in ear.
comfortable, they stay in and you forget you are wearing them. over ears get a bit hot unless you are outside in winter, for weight sound and comfort, these ones. available in white or black.

I second the HD 280s becuase you can crank it loud and no-one around you will hear a thing. I have the HD270s and they rock.

Go them this weekend, unbelievable, not worth the money, but there isnt much any big brand makes that actuallyis, all stereo eqpt is marked up 50% or more, got a buddy at Circuit City who gets me cost, most comfortable things you can put on your ears man, last long too from what I hear, shell it out, or hollar at me and maybe I can get my buddy to get you the same discount, email me by next wed, he goes on vacay, other than that, I had the logitech usb headphones for 50 i think, and they were desent, just hurt the ears after an hour

very comfy, not too pricey, and very good sound quality & range. Does NOT tire the ears from long listening sessions while working.

For portables, I have 3 pairs, all behind the neck, cause my ears don't like earplugs:

very nice bass, but their highs are a tad lacking. My everyday choice for daily commute ipod video, partly because they're foldable and unbreakable.Sony MDR-G73LP

A little weird fit at first, then hardly noticeable. Surprisingly good, full sound.Sennheiser PMX60

Best sound, light and comfy with large pads delivering the bass smoothly. I hardly ever wear them outside unless I know I'll keep them on my neck, without having to pack them in the bag. They seem easy to break, even if they're not.
