I'm very satisfied with my 24" Dell -- and i was really worried because it's my first LCD (and my first Dell purchase). but i love it.
I read someplace that it uses the same display that Apple uses... just rebranded for Dell. Not sure if that's totally true.

Kona, are you using the panel's native resolution at home?

(Aug 1 06, 06:30)at home using the vga-mini dvi connector i'm running 1280x1024. that's as high as the 19 will go. kinda nice not having to squint and stuff.

i got a 24" for a shade under $750 a couple weeks ago. i love it, but i'm using it along side a macbook pro and cannot get them both calibrated the same. it's very difficult to worka cross both because the colors are looking very different.

(Aug 1 06, 06:50)I found the dell has a bit more yellow to the screen and I can't get rid of it. It's not the end of the world as I had one of the really good print designers here come over and calibrate the screen. She spent about an hour and a half on it and did a bunch of work to it. It's better, but to me there is still just a hair of yellow in it. Oh well.

couldnt find the feedback
but here's the vat invoice and the compnay was called Suretraders.
they reimbursed me half the vat once i sent them this jpg
the voltage is the same as near as dammit, all my stuff works ok when i am in usa.

Hmm, i definitely recall my father blowing up a US-bought cd player after plugging it straight in on his return to Europe.
Also, you should probably blur some of the details in that VAT receipt, man.

I got my dell 24" LCD last week and its pretty freakin amazing. I'm not so sure I need all that space now that I actually have it, but it sure is nice. Great picture quality too. So far I'd highly recommend.

i just got the 19" ultrasharp for the mac pro, its a stellar monitor.
