I was 6, she was 4. We've been married for 38 years, and our little one is 40.

it seems a lot of us are going to celebrate our 6th year of marriage this year.

I've been head over heels apparently the past few years, and never really noticed until Jaline clued me in as to why I was doing something for another person.
I feel like I'm in the middle of a lot of what you all have been typing about, heh.
I can't wait to mess it up!

haha, I bet most NTers have an enormously crazy picture of you and your wife in their minds, Eddie.
- flavorful0
I do have a very crazy picture of Eddie's life going on whenever I read his posts.
Like everything revolves around him, but not in the sense he is self centered, but that everything is just moving very fast around him when he walks around, or sits.
I just envisioned 5 cats running around him circles but they were on jet skis' ... and there was no water!!!
- flavorful0
Jaline, you have an invitation if or if you don't decide to venture out of Canada, haha.
Hell ... if you play your cards rite, maybe we'll be inviting people!

EDDIE HAS CATS WITH SUNGLASSES FLYING AROUND HIM!

Proverbial thorn in my proverbial side, haha.

i definitely had that 'is this really happening' feeling...
all my life, i'd always been attracted to the same type of girl, short, cute, preppy and smart....seems like there was a long long string of them that i fell for, only to become the 'friend'
yeesh...
nothing like pining away for some girl, when all you'll ever be to her is a great friend...anyhow, when i met my wife, i was blown away...fell for her instantly ...only to think..oh no...what if i become the 'hes just a friend' again...
luckily, that didn't happen...
we both had the same intentions..but were attracted to each other..(wich is suprising...since both of us met working at a theme park north of toronto...Canada's Wonderland....and the old uniforms consisted of sky blue pants, white shirts and bright blue suspenders...we looked like fucking rodeo clowns....)
as her brother said at our wedding...if we could fall for each other in circumstances like that, it was definitely meant to be
:)
told my wife about this thread last night...mentioned i'd said all these nice things about how we met..
she laughed, called me a big sap...
then gave me a big kiss...man i love being married
:)

Like -- Can this really be happening to me? Have I actually found the perfect person for me after all this time?
I'm such a sap.

(Jul 7 06, 08:45)Yes. I grew up in the deep south, always hoped I'd end up with a southern girl but gave up hope after many years living in the northeast. Came out here, against my will really, and fell in love w/ the soon to be Mrs. gramme.
It's eery how much she completely fits the bill for my type, faith, personality, sense of humor, looks, even accent...she's even a designer (fashion, but still)...
