i kind of like the blgo scroll format you have going, i know you don't but it's so easy to use and so simple. you'll astonish me if you can make it as simple as a scroll but powerful like a blog. your mockups are pointing towards a simple brochure website. boooooring.

If the rest of the work in that blog are pieces that you will have on the site then I think the new comp might be a little to busy. Your work is really really nice, and I think something simpler would probably compliment the work more. No... I'm not saying another white one page scroller. But I think the subtly used on your identity and packaging work could be used to create something simpler on the web. Not saying I don't like the design... I just think the colors in it might conflict with the colors displayed in your the actual pieces.

yes, i was concerned also with the complexity of my work and how cluttered it would look on the portfolio page. i might have to fix that. thanks for all your comments.

Not bad, but it depends who you are marketing your site to. I think people will either like it or dislike it...not too many will fall in the middle. I like how you are thinking different than the standard blog look, but I feel that those big gray boxes might be a little limiting.
