SAI is probably good time to buy in, under 19. i wanna read mor up on it. it doesn't have so many write ups and analysis on this.
a lot of talk about slow down of the economy. you need to follow very carefully. also check out fool.com for some advise.
which trading company you signed up with? i use TDAmeritrade and they provide more detailed report from market edge, S&P, etc. so i always read up on those before buying particular stock.
some low priced stocks..

gold is tough right now. not sure about it. if you've invested in 2000, it has went up 6x in the past 6yrs.
many of the hottest precious metal funds are closed for new investors. in general, gold is a good investment for the long term. but i don't think we get the kind of uplift we'd seen in the past 5yrs.

i'm on scottrade for my account. Cheap, and they've got offices all over the place so I can just go in and ask questions, drop a check, get a check ( I think, i've never taken money out).
SAI is mostly on hold from all the analysts as they try to figure it out. It's to new so they are guessing at the PE ratio. They're core business is also in the only sector of the US defense budget that's growing over the next 2 years. ~5% growth projected each year. And it's still pretty close to the IPO price. Look how MA charted since the IPO, people didn't know how to price it so it was pretty level until they started coming out with reports. Then it just took off. The company has been very smart about a lot of acquisitions so i tend to think it's undervalued. Being so close to the ipo but still dropping press releases about new business, favorable courts decisions really hasn't factored into the price. So I'm expecting them to post really good numbers which will start the growth. I'm holding til 1st qtr to see what happens.

ahhh I was going to ask you what you use. Scottrade is badass

Have any of you ever moved $ from a 401k into an IRA?

so Kerkorian sells the rest of his GM shares, worth about 800 mil, I don't think he's going to dump all that into MGM again, he's already the controlling stock owner. Would love to know where it's going... I don't think another cashino stock either.... hrmmmm anythoughts?
- tkmeister0
damn, i would like to know what he's buying too.
wall street is slowing down a bit. it looks like it's looking for some execuses to fall. a lot of skeptics in this bull market.
- mpfree0
I want them shares. He can share with us. dangit
- tkmeister0
i guess Kerkorian was really hoping Carlos Ghosn of Nissan Renault to lead GM with an alliance. but now that's not happening, why bother.
Carlos Ghosn is the man.
- mpfree0
I feel like I need a new angle.
- joyride0
yeah, he's really turned nissan around, but GM still makes ugly ass cars IMO. Other then the vette, i wouldn't buy a single one. And to think, GM had the option to buy TM a while ago, but chose to partner with fiat... good choice
- mpfree0
God, Fiat and Renault are shit cars. Don't care.

two things:
YHOO has a shakeup in management. Waiting for my alert to hit my phone for sub 26. This might be the buying op.
SAI is reporting on the 12, was gonna buy on the weakness this week, But they keep announcing new contracts... fuck! The last 3 qtr's they've been doing 6% growth... anyone know if that's above normal for a stock? I think 2-3% is norm. So I'm expecting at least that. anything above should spike it.
Good day!
- mpfree0
Can I buy stock in the Kentucky Derby? How much money is sitting in those stands that day?
- tkmeister0
yeah, it could be good change for yahoo. my IHR hit all time low -30%...
i'll hold till the q1 07, if not good, dump and move on. my first loss in 3yrs.
i am buying a share of berkshare in jan.
