This is the logo I have so far for my company I am trying to get started.
Please let me know what you think.
I know the graphic I made has been used in similar logos as well, But i like that style alot. All suggestions are welcome! Thanks.

It's not bad, but, like you said, has been used in a similar manner before.

I'm finding a disconnect between what may be a reference to helv neue 75 and your logo and coming soon type.

i have no idea what this logo means. give some background.

Not feeling it.

looks a bit like old Nev Brody to me, Face era, I think its the type that does it.
I agree with the point about your reference...

perhaps wrongly on my part, the name neue75 sets up an expectation for me of rigorous swiss-style design, which the logo seems at odds with

if this is for a guitar pick company, I'm all for it

Its for a design based company (no sh*t) I guess my goal is to be able to offer my behind the times city (however, there is limited great design here in PGH). I just figured to create something a company in pittsburgh that offers something other than conservitive straight up corporate design. which to me, seems to be the only kind of firms that are planted around PGH, except for a few. The name neue is obvious; and the design I felt followed up wit ""something new, or neue.
The coming seen is no good, I know that. The actual typeface is not a helvetica either. Any suggestions on what I could do to strengthen the logo as a whole?
And no, It is not for a guitar pick company... stow it dinghy!

I'll bet it looks wai better scaled down.

Also, Jnr Madison, I am trying to get a LITTLE bit more input than just "not feeling it". As a designer, i would think you could come up with something more communicative than that. Thanks.

I say scale it down, bring both the logo and Coming Soon higher in the frame, and closer together.

the 75 trapped in the circle suggests that it is important with the messaging, although it is treated as though it is secondary with the size of it. take a closer look how the 5 resembles a backwards e, let the 7 be the divider between the two forms... maybe the 75 can have a 1970's swash feel to it? a larger 7 and smaller 5.

i am not feeling it either. the lines are not consistent. your type looks altered/stretched and out of context. there's no reasoning behind the look.
