while i will say that some of these applicants were obviously fakes, you can't really dictate how people choose to deal with their loss.

I'm halfway between sleep and boredom at teh moment...but yeah I'd say I pretty much hit it on the money there.
It sure isn't democrats trying to erect a fucking Berlin Wall on the Mexico border.

"same way give aid to countries so that they by your goods."
lowimpakt I would love to hear more about how you hate America. Please explain the real problem you have is. I want to hear the shit you don't want to talk about. Things like ego, envy, etc. The real problem you have not the surface excuses you are trying to pass as your real issue.

Yup. It sure the hell isn't. Funny you should mention. I was watching the news last night and saw this 13 year old girl with her attorney complaining about Racial Profiling because when she was driving with her mother the border patrol stopped them and deported her mom. I felt awful for the girl who is now an American because she was born here but I began to think of how people like Jevad would rather forfeit security and pretend there is no border problem so that he doesn't look racist. Selfish act.

Wow, the republicans here really like to rub things into people's faces and also get angry quite easily. Funny.

im not the one laughing at their actions question, you are..
i say the admin should have had more control over how and where the money could be spent. it is a joke.

in a 60 minute piece the other week the border patrol said that they have never caught a terrorist sneaking across the border. Most get fake docs and come via air. the security arguement is BS.

I saw this little post over here and thought I'd comment.
I was "displaced" by Katrina. The city of New Orleans will never be the same - hopefully for the better. It will take a very very long time. I feel as though I must restate to everyone here that it was the "worst natural disaster to every happen on U.S. soil."
The government was not ready to handle something of that magnitude - including FEMA. I have friends and family members who used the money given for food and clothes - it was not all wasted.

the fact is that most fund raising around the world does not reach those who really need it.

while the messed up spending isn't necessarily what was intended, had the government actually thought something through for once, it could have been prevented. you guys are all pointing fingers as if you should blame the end user. come on. the government was handing out free money and not thinking about it. the bush administration is notorious for not thinking things through, and this is anohter result. not feeling bad for the victims of one of the worst disasters in us history is pathetic.

question02 would rather blame the poor than his supreme leaders who dropped the ball on the katrina response. then give his canned response to people who disagree with him. sad really.

Since when have liberals turned to mainstream media as their bible? I always assumed they were against the media?
I am not sure I am able to believe that 60 minutes report. I am certain that we don't know nearly 2/3 of the security breaches through and around the north and south border. I am not convinced that you should bet your account on a 60 minutes report. Sorry.

you sir, are an ass.

"supreme leaders"? wtf.
I would rather blame the city of New Orleans for not reinforcing the dam in the first place. It's the individual States responsibility to secure shit like that. I am not sure that I know many people who think otherwise. I thought it was common knowlege that the Government is unable to move to disaster areas within 72 hours and that initial 72 hours is state responsibility. How are you thinking otherwise?

jevad this is where you should probably step out of the discussion since we're now talking above 3rd grade level (adult time).
I will drop you an email when we drop back down to 1st grade language again so you can join in.

I wonder what it feels like to have the war mongering bigot spin machine's hand so far up your ass moving your mouth like that?
