How many innocent Iraqis have died since this started? And this is supposed to make them love democracy and the good ole US of A?
Get over all of this! The only thing that will stop this from continueing for years and years, (its been going on well before this country was even here) is talking, and education. Ignorance is causing all of this crap. Wars, bickering etc.... Is bashing liberals going to satisfy Anne Coulter when she is on her death bed?
I have had enough of this war, these religious fanatics...rather here in the US or in the middle east, enough of telling people what they can and cant do (see gay marriage, i am not condoning anarchy here), corporate greed. This is not progress at all. Less war and killing and suffering and greed is progress. Us working 60 hours a week, and bombing Iraq and Exxon is not progress at all.

1. The science IS there. These discoveries are NEW. Which is why there is a paradigm shift happening in the scientific community. And why those committed to philosophical materialism are perpetuating every canard they can in desperation, to keep the shift from happening. They've duped you, haven't they?
2. The only thing the evidence over the last 150 years supports is that change has happened over time. This I agree with. What the evidence does NOT show is Darwinian gradualism via Natural Selection + Random Mutation. This is mythology born out of the 19th century. This is what we are realizing.

Mimio, provide for me 1 single paper or shred of conclusive evidence that Natural Selection + Random Mutation is responsible for macro scale change and the creation of novel cell types, tissue types and body plans. Please cite the examples and support your answer. Go.

Nobody denies that Natural Selection can modify the beak of a Finch. What it cannot do is generate complex specified information (CSI) and produce species. You've bought into an unscientific myth. How's it feel?

I've bought into it as a valid theory, that explains and supports findings throughout the sciences. If it were fact, you and I wouldn't be arguing. I never denied that it is somewhat contentious either.
How does it feel to only make appearances on a design board as the house evangelist and/or ID proponent(creationism), and then claim (dishonestly) that both viewpints have nothing to do with one another.

Discipler, I have opinions on what ID is. One those opinions is that it's awfully similar to creationism. I don't find that a coincidence either, they're part of the same agenda.

Again Mimio... very few people deny the evidence that change happened over time. The fact is that you have not taken a look at the "evidence" you cite. It doesn't exist. Once again, there is not a shred of evidence that a blind, natural mechanism can generate biological novelty. There never has been. Darwin hypothesized that Natural Selection could accomplish creativity because this was based on the limited knowledge at the time. We now know that this is unscientific. We have new data.
How does it feel to resort to ad hominem attacks when you realize you don't have the actual data to back up your argument?
