I literally couldn't stop myself from falling asleep after about 35 hours...

i have done more all-nighters than i care to remember. but they have tapered off recently. thank god. i think i have done two or three this year. when i first started with my current company, i was doing two or three a month to make a name for myself.
my longest streak without sleep was 62 hours back in art school near the end of the semester.

sorry, I mean about 40 hours...

I don't know how you do it, I pulled an all-nighters a few years ago (Actually spent it all on NT hahah) and passed out on the desk around lunchtime the next day.
Felt all feverish and hung over. Never again.

ive always found i make so many mistakes after the 24 hour mark that it just makes more sense to sleep for 4 or so

If I'am gonna be up all night , it's not going to be working.

my last half-year at this one small agency downtown T.O...i think for a few months, it was about one allnighter every week...sometimes more...
i suppose it's fun when you're younger, and there is a certain amount of paying-your-dues/badge of pride
sorta thing...but as you get older, you realize that generally speaking, when it comes to all-nighters for work, it's because some fucker in sales promised WAY more than he should have to a client 'of course we can have the final file for you tomorrow at 9:am'
or a sadistic AD or CD..has to have 12 dozen concepts from you in the morning, because he doens't have the talent himself to come up with one himself...after you start realizing that, the thrill of allnighters is long gone...

for 10 months in SF, i literally slept every other night
so thats about 150, every other night though

i found that i was ridiculously creative around the 50 hour mark coming up with crazy ideas for stuff
but it was really hard to focus.it was a totally creative dreamlike zone that i was in.

longest?
4 days.
but its stupid...you don't do more work in this way... i was working on 4 G5's at the same time(after efftes scenes) but you just start to make mistakes...
so now i just don't do it anymore...

all nighters are for people with bad time management skill.
also, don't you realize you slow down a lot after staying up all night? i don't trust my judgement if i were up 24hrs.

2 this week. Seems like i have 2 every month or so.
And yeah, it sucks, but generally since they're for a meeting, pitch, or tough deadline, the next day is slow and I can take off and 'work' from home.

(Jun 8 06, 10:02)exactly. I always do things at the last minute, but make sure I have enough time so that I don't have to pull an all-nighter. Hasn't failed me so far. I would never stay up for anything school or work-related.
The one time I stayed up for like 2 days was for prom. I had a job interview in the morning, and it was horrible. The entire thing was a blur, and, not surprisingly, I didn't get the job.

3 days with 2 hours of sleep studying for various finals. I slipped into a 2 day coma after my last exam.
