you have a point there, dobs. :)
and i reckon the sesame street thing may have subconsciously affected the voting habits of an entire generation...
hmm...

Democrats need to stop complaining and blaming and start offering solutions otherwise I'll be voting Republican again.
I hope this year the Democrats do less of the old "Fear" tactics and instead offer solid solutions. They would win me and many others back if they just plant their feet on the ground like they used to.

Ummm, Bush doesn't use fear tactics?

Question02
(Jun 6 06, 09:21)I'm sorry .... WHAAAAAAT?!!?!

(Jun 6 06, 09:22)Sorry, I thought I was clear... I was talking of the Democrats using fear tactics during the campaign. Democrats ride on fear these days and I hope that has changed.

Democrats use FEAR to win major votes from their emotional voting base.
Privacy is at stake
Threat of religion in Gov.
World opinions of America
Terrorism
Iraq
DeficitI used to be democrat until they began using Fear to gain votes and play on emotions. I am a bit more intellectual than that. I don’t follow mainstream media because it challenges authority. I follow facts to base my opinions.
- Republican0
Just to be clear, I think most people are following the mainstream media *because* it challanges authority but not because it may be rational. People these days will agree with anything anti-government regardless if it makes sense.

question, how many times since the 2004 campaign has the terror threat level been raised?
COmpare that number with home many times it was raised during the campaign and then tell me that Bush doesnt use fear tactics.
Gay Marriage and the flag burning issue are both fear tactics to raise up the republican base.
Dont be dishonest, now.

who told us that saddam was going to fly unmanned drones over the midwest and spray anthrax on us and we should buy duct tape?
who said the next smoking gun would be a mushroom cloud, knowing full well that he had no nuclear capabilities?
Dont fucking talk to me about dems using fear.
- Republican0
mrdobolina I am not saying that fear isn't used on both sides it just appears to ME that the Democrats rely on that or at least they did in the last election. I think that's why it was lost to the republicans. Stop being so offended. By saying "they do it too!" is really poor.
- mrdobolina0
I'm sorry if I do not agree that they both use it.
One of them got us into a war by mistake the other one got us what?
Keep voting against your best interests.

your boy newt gingrich agrees with me.

I don't have problems with ppl who vote for Green, etc, if they actually have good reason too (and hopefully the parties cover a lot of the bases, b/c they don't tend to cover as many things as the usual left wing versus right wing). I only have a problem with people who vote for Green, etc, because they hate everyone else.
- Jaline0
sorry, not necessarily hate everyone else, but just voting for Green, etc, without examining it just b/c the voter wants to be different or go against everyone else...

mrdobolina you kind of break down when someone forms a different opinion other than yours. You know this right?

Question02
(Jun 6 06, 10:11)I've been saying that for almost a year now.
And, to all of you... you're going to need more sticks.
- mrdobolina0
You two say that everytime you lose an argument.
