The market here is affordable and strong...but getting out of hand due to out-of-state investors coming in and buying the place up. I'm stoked on living here for sure.

Mayo I'd love to see your Bung-
a-low. post some pics. I always wanted a large sleeper front porch – my old place had a small porch.

i would be so stoked to be able to move to a place where i could by a house for under 300k. that would be rad.
dammit. i do actually, just realized that. 300k would get you the most gnarly pad and a full staff full-time until your grand children die.
i mean a home in the U.S. for that price. well, there or tasmania... ;)

davey, that was funny as hell.

a little off subject, but this girl at my job has the ass of a teenage tennis player.

(May 24 06, 13:59)There's a handful of girls around me at the agency I'm at — that are in the same boat. I'm drooling all day long...

Bough my apartment about a year ago for $235k. Top floor with a nice view over the city. Last month the apartment on the ground floor was sold for a little less than $490k.
So I'm very happy, but thinking about moving to the Uk and can't figure out if I should sell and cash in big time, or rent it out and keep a steady flow of dough.

I think she knows.
This girl is easily 8 years younger than me.
I kinda feel like a creep, but I know I am not the only dude here clocking that azz. I catch other guys doing it all the time.

I just bought my first place out in Brooklyn, a little nervous and excited – will close on it in November as soon as it's done being built.
I'm broke now too, those down payments are insane, I guess it's all good due to the equity it creates..

level2b.
You'll get used to the payments and the rest is all downhill homie...in a few years you'll look back and be SOOOOOO glad you jumped on when you did.

congrats level2

thanks davey. Yep, those first few payments may sting but it'll work out :)

thanks mrdobolina. I know how it is to help the moms out. I got mine a car this year because I was so tired of seeing her drive a piece of junk that was always in the shop. I look forward to paying that car bill every month, makes me feel good..

no doubt level2, best feeling I ever had, she would have lost her house over the last year if I wouldn;t have been able to help. My aunts and uncles all think I am the shit now. Growing up they all lived in the suburbs and my immediate family was always kinda the black sheep city kids. Feels good.

haha, sounds like my fam. Yeah, I have some bragging rights now whenever I visit.
