A client of ours has sent us a poster they created in powerpoint. I guess that's the only program they have available.
We are having trouble printing it here. Not sure if it's getting dropped by the fiery, or if the DocuColor just won't recognize the file. (We are also a pretty big print company. Posters, banners, billboards)
Can I take the info from the powerpoint and drop it into InDesign and retain everything?
Powerpoint just ain't cuttin it.
any ideas?

ah sweet!
you guys rock. inside powerpoint you can boost the resolution of the image you want to export.
thanks guys!

This boosting of the image from Powerpoint doesn't sound like good things are going to happen. It sounds like that would just interpolate pixels and make the final output blurry. Make sure your original bitmap is the right resolution.
If it's not that much trouble recreate the thing with InDesign. Most PowerPoint work is pretty simple.

you can generate a PDF from any Microsoft Office program, that would be your best bet I would think.
