I've stayed there--UN area, very quiet and tranquil, nice kitchen, beautiful garden in back of building, nice cafe area with free coffee and pastries set out in morning, high speed internet, cable, etc

You can't book a hotel room because you are canadian? You can't rent a furnished apartment for 30 days because you are canadian? You can't rent an apartment in advance because you are canadian? You can't find anybody in NYC (the most crowded city on earth, is it?) to wave a camera around because you are canadian? You can't seem to find any help of any kind on the site with the best URL in the world because you are canadian?

this is the deal..
most place like hotel or corp housing place are either 300 a night or 3500-7500 a month.
little too pricey for me.other places, want me to pay them in front before i go down there .. or wont even consider it if i am coming out of town, which is understandable..
i am trying to rent directly from the landlords who tends to have decency if i explain my situtation. but very hard to find
