"what's funny... if you really do your research... you'll see that 'hell' isn't a real place... The Bible never speaks of an eternal place like hell - the bible says that when you die... you go back to 'dust'... aka - worm food.. then dirt..."
what's funny is that he used the word "hell" in the same mythological sense, or at least the same sense it's been used in the bible.

'hell' isn't a word in the bible.
you won't find it once.

Marriage isn't even the institution that they pretend it is. It comes down to the people involved, some are like Lou Reed and Laurie Anderson and some are a farce like like J-Lo marriages, or Britney Spears. Is that what we're protecting? Someone's right to get hitched on a whim in Vegas, over a gay person's same right.

I don't think Hell is in the Bible, just in alot of the printed hymnals...

1. Men and women can reproduce and ensure survival of the race.

(May 18 06, 13:14)it's funny, the human race isn't in danger of dying out--just the opposite. there are more human beings than the planet can sustain. actually would be healthier for everyone if more people were homosexual.

i am sure hell is mentioned in the translations, jsut not with this 4 letter word.

i guess its how you interpret hell.... "who so ever should believe in him shall not perish but have everlasting life"
I said that passage because i THINK alot of people know what im referring too...
Austin 3:16..
er...
John 3:16Eternal life? then i seemingly everyone else who doesnt believe would be applied to the Eternally dead

all those crickety bible thumpin 80 year olds running marriage steeples in vegas are gladly shoving their feet in the mouths as they think of the market potential

(May 18 06, 14:27)"but noone ever can proof what death is all about.
we are getting really philosophical on this..
i, myself, do not rule out a greater force that exists, however, i believe the bible is merely a moral instrument that was needed in a time of despair and uncontrolled social environments.
and for that the book did one hell (pun?) of a job.
i still haven't read it in full, and i damn well should, as it is interesting for the reasons i mentioned before; a moral guide for the human species.

I hear you man... but that could also be applied to every other religion..but i do agree... we all are trying to make sense out of something that has been going on for thousands of years...
I think people do turn to some religions like Christianity however, when things are going well also.
Take awards shows and such...i know this is a bad example and forgive me (no pun intended)... but they start off with saying: 'i would like to thank God, and my family....bla bla bla....'
know what i mean?
I also think its funny when people LIKE SOME rappers get on stage and they say: "i would like to thank God..bla bla bla'..
I love thinking to myself...
these guys are thanking the highest of their religion for making tons of money from singing about killing people...having sex all over the place while having naked women in their videos....and glorifying money...
I Love it.

that part i loathe and love at the same time.
on an abstract level it is human psychology revealing our contradictory nature in all its glory!
almost in a perverted way, but still, interesting brainfood for psychology and philosphy students.
