i just realized.. I should probably thicken up the bottom part of the feather... looks too thin right now..

if you are going to have the feather be part of the logotype, i suggest a better integration, looks kinda of stuck in there.
i actually prefer your previous attempt, without the feather being part of the type. with some work of course.

Hey, if u tilt your head to the left 90 degrees (err, or as close to 90 as u possible can).. it looks like a person with a feather across his forehead. The C is acting as his chest anf the I is the headband part... lol, do you see it? or am i nuts?

D=P, yeah i was afraid of that..

i really liked the first iteration better. i think the type was a lot nicer. perhaps think about breaking each letter with a vertical bar, ala slot machines.
try an abstracted eagle, i think the feather might be too cliché for indians...

i see a rising stack of poker chips in in the shape of a totem pole for this one

the symbol of the eagle will confuse
too cliche for too many things that have various meanings
Native culture in america isnt really the first thing i think of...although associated with but just not the first symbol that comes to mind
good start..i think the feather works..maybe try a few diff ones tho just to get a feel
also..i noticed the native cultures indigenous to america use alot of yellow, black, red and white colors in their ancient tribal symbols..
keep goin...
