One of my favourite past times. I'm planning on buying a telescope in the future...maybe ask my parents for one for my birthday. Anyone know any good ones out there?
I think my dad also has binoculars somewhere around the house, but my roof is a great place to just lie down on and watch everything. The moon and stars are so visible in the suburbs.
dinky, I also agree about the watching neighbours part. Once I was bored and decided to use my old binocs to look at neighbours. These really annoying kids who live across from us got REALLY scared. After they saw something (I doubt they saw who I was), they screamed and ran off away from the room I could see.
It was funny.

Not to keep going on about missing cats... but when i was about 10 we lost our cat, it went missing for three weeks but eventually turned up... anyway...
there was a load of farmland behind our road... and my dad would look out onto it with his binoculars... trouble is the woman opposite told everyone she thought my dad was a pervert as she thought he was looking in her window!

I'd love to walk over to Lake Michigan tonight but it's just so cold and we got alot of snow today. The full moon must look awesome over the lake right now, which I think is still frozen.
