yeah i have the 60 one and i use it mostly for video, saved an older iPod for music.
I've been archiving videos for years (commentaries, interviews, inspirational stuff), the iPod if full and i'm already considering getting a 2nd one.

Thats what I was thinking...keep my 3rd gen for teh tunes and fill a new video ipod up with macGuyver and Magn um PI vids

Anything widescreen is honestly a bit of a pain to watch so i don't use it for movies and wouldn't recommend it for that use, but 4:3 stuff is totally fine.

i got the 30 GB a few months back...super stoked on it when i got it, but for me the video thing got old fast. since i don't use any public transportation and don't really travel much i never have time to use it. i feel like a trendwhore and a victim or mass-marketing. the ipod is very sexy, but i would have been fine getting something else instead. i bring it to work with me every day, but i really only use it for music.
also, i don't know about anyone else but i actually find the whole scroll wheel navigation thing kind of annoying. the touch sensitive area is too sensitive. hard to use when i'm driving in my car. i like the way my old creative nomad navigated better.
on the plus side, i do enjoy being able to see the album art pop up when a song plays. that's fun!

store them on the drive as backup, watch them on the ipod on trips/planes/or anywhere i need to work on ideas and don't want to bring my laptop to.
