yup yup, you have to stick with light colored garments generally if you are using waterbased ink. I have seen some opaque white waterbased ink before but never tried it.

Any suggestions for someone that already has a screen? I don't remember the mesh count as I used these when i was in college.
-Any instructions on how to make your own press?
-I'd like to try a one color print on a tee to get started.
-For those home silkscreeners out there, how do you get the image on the screen? A dark bathroom with a red bulb?This thread like all the others have been very helpful. Thanks.

illroot, these are the best instructions I have found online without paying. explains the entire process. As far as the press goes, just draw up your own plans. you can buy hinges at lots of places. the rest is just lumber and time.

if you are serious about it, I will mail you some hinges, I have a few sets laying around doing nothing for a few years.
