that looks like a water-based ink

mrdobolina has done a few really nice screenprints.

looks like waterbased to me too. plastisol generally lays over the surface of the shirt a bit more than that.

Mesh chart? What kind of info are you looking for exactly? Like what kind of mesh you need for certain art or something?
- version30
well you had told me the finer the mesh the smaller the dots
made sense
after seeing theis thread i want to try this water based ink
i'm thinking the water based might make the ink a little thinner, so using a smaller mesh would result in smaller dots making a better looking shirts
i don't know that's why I'm asking
- mrdobolina0
that is true, I saw that test print you wanted to print, you may have to go like 305 meshcount on something that intricate. Your line screen export out of illustrator is important also.

the texas screen aluminums are bomb because they dont warp
but if your cat decides to claw em up, you cant just replace the screen, you gotta replace the whole shabang, but they are pretty cheap

These inks may work for you too, give these guys a call they are pretty friendly.

they offer water based textile inks

yup yup, you have to stick with light colored garments generally if you are using waterbased ink. I have seen some opaque white waterbased ink before but never tried it.
