check out - http://www.davisint.com/
they sell all types of equipment and supplies (new and used) and these water based inks - http://www.iccink.com/screenprin…
but for testing and getting into it, just get some speedball inks and spend your money on a good squeegee and frame

Any suggestions for someone that already has a screen? I don't remember the mesh count as I used these when i was in college.
-Any instructions on how to make your own press?
-I'd like to try a one color print on a tee to get started.
-For those home silkscreeners out there, how do you get the image on the screen? A dark bathroom with a red bulb? This thread like all the others have been very helpful. Thanks.

illroot, these are the best instructions I have found online without paying. explains the entire process. As far as the press goes, just draw up your own plans. you can buy hinges at lots of places. the rest is just lumber and time.

if you are serious about it, I will mail you some hinges, I have a few sets laying around doing nothing for a few years.

Thanks for the link, very informative read, and thanks for the offer but shouldn't the screen be "detached from the base"?
Should the press look something more like this:

Of course, just 1 and not 6...
