also apts in spanish harlem are much larger than most apts in all of nyc...but its way uptown and there is a language barrier for canadian asian boys....

We moved a bit further up in the 135th area. Our place is nice. Large 2Bdrm. They have 1 bdrm's for $1400 includes utils too (not for long though...maybe another year or two before they get the meters working and running).

dinky: $1700 again, utils included.They said once the meters are in place rent will go down by $2-300.
Building isn't exaclty new. It's rather old, but they are renovating a lot of the residences. Trying to move a lot of the older people out and the "non-desirables".
Not for everyone. Not really a "hip" side of town, but the park isn't too far away. "Colorful" area though. Always something to see.
