Wow, these guys go without a website for that long and this is what they come up with? Pretty underwhelming if you ask me.
- mr_snuggles0
Well at least it's nice to know that they are still around...

watch the ps2 under motion....
can someone please tell me what the fuck that has to do with playstation?

Their sites are always a little like that! The work is always different and gets you thinking though

Nice work, but the site is a pain in the arse to use and pretty clunky.

Is the nav supposed to disappear
- Engage0
Truble with using a mac is you never know if you're looking at a site as intended... always thinking is this meant to be this slow!

(Apr 9 06, 12:04)"All the people are somehow 'modified' or 'accessorised' somehow, two appear to have perhaps been (poorly) synthetically 'evolved' while the other two have very dodgy homemade contraptions, yet they all seem rather desperate, as if they have perhaps been waiting for something, perhaps waiting too long, maybe they got fed up waiting and tried things themselves or went for the wrong 'product'... in typical playstation style the message is unclear, making you think, making you disturbed, generates intrigue and word of mouth. the third place.
well thats my theory, any good?

i do not get that site. it runs so slow! and what's up with the nav? and why did they give the background image an alt tag "image"?
ummm i do kind of like that ps2 ad though...but i like matthew barney's work in general.

"The Long awaited Tomato website.
Hope all you code readers/hackers like it? yes theres some pritty odd stuff going on under the hood
to do with file locations- and the database (nothing to amasing. The layers of the navigation are built
within a Java Bean (it was easyer that way tbh) its just a recrsive loop over the database making div's.I have left all the Javasctipt exposed if anyone wants to have a look at it- guess theres better ways
to do some of this stuff :P. And im bad i know- mixing styles, hahaha. i may update the code while i
play about with AJAX- but then maybe make somthing else thats cooler :)well have fun- hope you like it

(Apr 9 06, 12:13)exactly.
i am quite envious at those designers who can make a step beyond the realm of aesthetics and in-your-face communication. sort of like http://www.meireundmeire.de/

I would much rather be doing bigger, wierder, more conceptual stuff a la tomato. I dont think the site is that bad personally, I kind of like the vibe I get from it, cept for that type.
