Anyone have a method so that when you export the swfs from AIs, the text boxes stay intact instead of breaking up all over the place?

vector to vector really works great for me.
the only thing you may want to do is "simplify" the points in your vector work.
flash dies when there are too many objects and points. it will turn your computer to a toaster oven.

If I wanted to copy and paste text from AI CS to Flash MX I had to paste in text edit in plain text then copy from there.

Just be very careful with any vector art and Flash 8. There are issues with stroke and gradients that cause errors when you publish for anything lower than 8. Simplify your art before exporting from Illustrator.

(Apr 4 06, 10:02)Alternatively, you can just save your fla down a version (Flash MX 2004) and it will strip those out automagically.
